Definitely possible. I wouldn’t do a self tan though, I would use a professional. I would probably experiment with a couple of different salons in the lead up, figure out who is best, what makes you look best and how to look after it properly (very important). Then you won’t have to worry by the time the day comes. I see you have over 2 years to think about this so that’s lots of time to experiment 🙂

I’m SUPER pale – and can’t tan to save my life! I also freckle super easy and my nana has had HEAPS of skin cancers removed so I’m with you on the not intentionally tanning deal. I had a spray tan for my 21st (which was about 5 yrs ago now) and was super worried about turning orange, but the tan I got worked with your natural colour (so the darker you were naturally the darker your tan was) so I was still fairly pale, I just looked healthier. I just had a nice glow. I’m going back to the same salon to get it done before the wedding. Try a few, get one that works with your natural colour and enjoy!

I’m somewhat fair and do spray tans before all of the weddings i’ve attended. If your wedding is on a Saturday, I’d recommend getting it done on Thursday to avoid that right outta the tanning salon look. You’ll still be glowing but the bronzer settles more after 2 days. Def do a trial run!
