I’m spray painting today . . . making these: http://ruffledblog.com/2010/04/entry-24-diy-wine-bottle-centerpieces/ and changing the color of a basket I trashpicked, etc. Despite being extra careful, I now have blue fingers. And a family weding with my future in-laws this weekend. Any tips on how to return my hands to their natural state in, say, the next 24 hours?

Have you tried paint thinner? That ought to work.

Nail polish remover is a no-go. My FI is an artist and he’s bringing a bunch of chemicals over . . .
on the up side, the bottles look great!

mineral spirits. Guaranteed to remove actual paint.
Also any varnish on your floors or table. DH accidentally spilled some the other day…it’s smelly so use it outside.

FI was supposed to bring mineral spirits, but he forgot (he remmebred a lot of other stuff, though!) so I reached for goo gone on the off chance it would work. I did! Thanks for your other ideas, too. Now I won’t have blue hands when I’m hanging out with the future in laws this weekend.
