Weddingbee boards

I'm spending way too much on my reception and dresses and the only way I'm going to be able to squeeze under budget is because of these great deals I got on a few local vendors (some of which are friends that just happen to be in the wedding industry).

*Jennifer Johnson is doing my cake and I couldn't be happier with the stuff she has shown me so far and best of all - she only charges $1.50 per slice! My cake is going to be under 200 dollars... which is practically unheard of. Her email is jmjohns@nc.rr.com

*Duane Palmer is my DJ. He has done about a million parties north of the Triangle and is highly sought after. He has all of his own equipment, etc. etc. and he is hilarious! He is only charging me $300 (which I think is a special rate because he is a fiend of my Mom) but I think he is probably around that price to non-friends. *My florist is Greg Warren from Greg Warren Flowers and so far he has absolutely bent over backwards to achieve my vision and get me the best deals. He is one of the hardest working people I've ever met.  He works out of his home now (although he used to have a shop on Glenwood in Raleigh) and he passes those savings on to his brides. *Best of all, my wedding planner, Vanesa Knisley, is AMAZING and I don't know what I would do without her! She is very affordable compared to most in the Triangle and she absolutely knows her stuff. She has been shadowing under an acclaimed Raleigh planner for years and has finally broke out onto her own. She is amazing and she takes so much stress off of me!
