- Wedding: July 2012
Is June still springy enough to be a Spring themed wedding? Our original wedding date of May 11 worked great with the venue we originally planned (that I still mourn), because it was outdoors but had a HUGE fire pit in case it was too chilly. The new place has the same ‘look’ and is on the water (bonus) and is cheaper (double bonus) but no fires. This has me thinking maybe moving it to later in May or even switching to June would be a better idea…May can be fickle weatherwise and I don’t want everyone to freeze. I went to a wedding in early September and we were all so cold that we were bickering over fleece baby blankets from the back of my counsins jeep, and then left as soon as the cake was cut! I haven’t decided yet what we’ll shoot for (there are a lot of pros and cons to both dates) but is June still considered Spring? What do you ladies think? Could I get away with the wildflowers, and edible potted plants (SO cute, from the Martha Stewart website) and so forth?
