Check out my farm in the Hudson Valley - it's listed on VRBO.com number 238884. It's a reall working farm with sheep, goats, and cows, and a gorgeous setting for a wedding. And the wedding party gets to stay in the house on the property as an added benefit!

I'm not one to complain, and I certainly don't like to call people out, but...
My fiancé and I love the idea of a barn wedding. I called Springdale Farm B&B (Victor, NY) yesterday to inquire about how many guests they accommodate. Elaine answered, who I believe is the owner. I found her to be unfriendly and somewhat cold on the phone, which was very discouraging, as I was excited to call them and get some fun info. I didn't even want to continue the conversation so I thanked her and hung up.
Maybe she was just having a bad day. I get it - we all do. But first impressions are everything, and unfortunately, they lost a customer in us.
