Paper Source sells a pack of 7 envelope liner templates for $9.50. The pack includes a liner template for A7 envelopes. I love my envelope and liner templates! You can make envelopes and liners out of anything!

Paper Source templates have triangular flaps. I made liners for my A7 square flap envelopes, but I just sized my pattern to roughly 4.5" by 6.5" and cut two liners from each 8.5" by 11" sheet of paper using a paper cutter. Just make sure your liners are smaller than the narrowest part of the flap.

What made the project easy was not using a template and not being fussy about them being the exact same size. I figured no guest was going to notice or complain about a liner not being perfect, and so far I've been right. Everyone just comments on how much they love the invitations -- including the liners.  PM me if you need/want more details and pics.

Miss Pineapple has a good envelope liner tutorial, and another bee (I think Miss Sea Breeze?) made liners for square envelopes by cutting the top off the Paper Source liner template.

I used a homemade template for my A7 envelope. I just got a piece of plan paper and traced until I had it how I wanted it and used that one as the template to trace my decorative paper. I used the large 12" square scrapbook paper that is plain white on the back. I was able to get 4 to a sheet.

To attach I used the rolly sticky stuff but learned my lesson that there are several strenghts of hold, get the one with the dashed lines in case you don't place it where you want it and it needs to be moved. Some of them are like super glue:) (Can you tell I am not a scrapbooker?)

Good luck, I found it very easy and it was such a nice touch to the invite!
