Hmm not the 'best' idea (more time consuming) but did you think about attaching the ribbon around the arm of the chair then fasten? another idea (same idea) looping the ribbion between the two slits in the back of the chair and have the cones hang down infront of people
What if you did a loooong ribbon so that it could go across the whole chair back and then hang to one side? Does that make sense? hard to explain!
You could tie the ribbons in a bow around the arm of the chair. Or you could get some heavy-duty double-sided tape (the kind that holds carpeting down...the kind that's like glue!) and use it to attach the ribbons to the chair much the same as with a square-backed chair. =)

I have beautiful paper (to make the cones out of), great silk flowers, enough ribbon to stock a Michael's ribbon section...but I have rounded chairs. I need advice on how to attach the cones to the chairs. Thanks in advance!
