Ok, so I've decided to make square (6" x 6") programs for my wedding ceremony. I have already found 12" x 12" cardstock at Paper Source for the covers. However, I am having a hard time finding paper of the same size for inside the program. The trouble being that I don't want to use paper as thick as cardstock for the inside. Anyone have any ideas or the same experience?
I've done a few programs this size and have printed the inside pages on regular weight paper and had it cut down to 6" x 6". Unless you are great with the paper cutter, a place like Kinko's can print and cut for you. Altough I don't have any currently shown on my website, if you Private Message me I can send you pics.
yup...that is exactly what I did, Katey. I got large art paper from Michaels and cut it down with a yard stick and an exacto knife because I couldn't find any 12x12 paper that was inside-of-my-programs worthy.
i bought 12x12 paper for the cover... i wanted to do a mock-up so i hand cut the 12x12 paper in half to make it 12x6, and then when i folded that in half with my bone cutter tool thing-a-ma-jig, it didn't line up properly!!
