Got the call this morning my Karena Royale is here! She’s about 3 weeks early..I am still trying to lose weight…should I go ahead and start alterations or put it off a few weeks? Wedding is 10-13. I’m excited she’s here and I can’t wait to see her again but on the other hand it makes me very nervous :/

I think you have time – from what I’ve heard, it’s typically to not start alterations until two months out at the earliest! If you’re still planning on losing weight, I wouldn’t get it altered yet because then it might not fit!

I would call your alterations person to see what their schedule is to get you in and done at the last possible moment. I am also trying to lose weight, so that is what I am doing. They did tell me I should make an appointment about 5 months in advance though for the first fitting.

I would wait. Give yourself the extra 3 weeks…it will be the ultimate motivation now that you know it’s in!

I think you have time. I started alterations a little over a month before my wedding.

i agree with Noritake22, you should check with your seamstress. if the seamstress is not too busy, you can even wait till the beginning of September to start with your alteration 🙂 congratulations! karena royale is a beautiful dress!
