So we have been TTC for about 14 months now and were waiting to try Clomid with trigger shot and IUI this month due to PCOS on my part and low motility on DH part. I was on aygestin days 22-29 to induce period when it was determined I hadn’t ovulated on day 21 testing. Well yesterday was day 35 and i called the doctor to tell her i still hadn’t had my period just spotting on Thursday and Friday. Well I took a pregnancy test today because she told me to double check before I took more aygestin although she didn’t think it would be that and low and behold I got this this morning. The darker one is the FMU the one next to it was from the few drops that I could muster about a half hour later because I can’t believe it. Now I am freaking out because I took the Aygestin – will be calling the office at nine when they open. Any advice?

krstino1012: Totally looks positive to me!! Congrats! Don’t worry about the aygestin – just be sure to talk to your doctor about it. Obviously I can’t be sure, but I’m thinking since it was so early along when you took it, there shouldn’t really be too much of a concern – the egg still implanted and will now grow into an awesome little baby! 🙂 Hope you get some great news from your doc!

Since you last took the Aygestin 6 days ago and your implantation spotting began on Thursday which was 5 days ago – your baby MAY have implanted AFTER you took the medication. If that is the case, your baby didn’t begin to share your blood supply until then.
Still though, talk to your doc about it and hopefully he/she can help put your mind at ease. And in the meantime – CONGRATULATIONS!!! You’re a mommy!!
