What about the World's Fair Pavilion in Forest Park? I've been to a graduation & coming of age party there. It would totally go with you theme. I doubt they provide tables though. Here's the website for the Pavilion...

I'm in southern IL. I'm not sure what part of So. IL you are looking into but have you considered any of the wineries around here? They make for a beautiful wedding! Especially in the summer months. Blue sky is gorgeous! Good luck to you.

FI and I recently decided that we would like to get married outside (rather than in his catholic church) so everything I had planned is for not.. I don't mind of course because this is what I was dreaming of. It makes things a little more difficult but a lot more fun for me.
So.. the issue I am running into now is with the reception hall. Instead of the traditional places we were considering we are now looking for something that allows us to carry the outdoors theme into the reception. I LOVE the old barn look or maybe a pavilion of some kind but I really can't find anything of the sort.
We already have a caterer so it would have to be a place that allows outside vendors. Maybe I'm being naive but I really wanted a place that would provided tables and chairs too..
Does anyone have ANY suggestions? Really; any! I know I sound picky above but I am nothing if not adaptable. I'm at a loss for ideas.
Thanks ladies!
