We’ve been twice on a cruise. THe first time, we went to St John and snorkeled and that was awesome.  The second time, we stopped at a sushi bar and had an amazing sushi dinner, and took the tram up to the top, then got a guided tour back down to the port.

If you like sushi, I forgot the name of the place, but it was by the port and has husky toolboxes wtih white leather seats as booths, and a boat at the bar that delivered your food

I’ve been on a Carnival cruise and we went to Magean’s Bay beach. (I think I spelled it wrong.) It’s a nice beach, mountains around it and food nearby.

I’ve mostly been to St. Thomas to get to St. John because St. John is absolutely amazing!  It’s a more rural quaint version of St. Thomas, definitely worth the ferry ride over to it.  The only issue is timing but seriously, you won’t regret going to St. John if you can make it back in time to the cruise.  I almost have the island memorized so if you need some help and you decide to go, feel free to PM me.  I can also send you some absolutely gorgeous pictures from my last trip there.

St. Thomas is nice if you must stay there, but it’s just too touristy and populated for my tastes.  I know the one time I had to stay at St. Thomas because I was cruising with other people, I can barely remember it because all I was thinking about was St. John.  I remember a cute little church that they have, getting cell phone service, and looking in all the touristy shops.

Go onto cruisecritic.com and look up what there is to do there. Ive heard Magen’s Bay beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. I’ve also heard good things about Sapphire Beach and Water Island’s Honeymoon Beach. Other people suggest taking the ferry to St John and going to Trunk Bay Beach.
