Pretty cake!
That's so awesome! I LOVE it. You know, that design is (at least partially) based off of De Stijl art, and especially the stained-glass windows of Theo van Doesburg from the early 20th century. I'm an art historian so I think it's really cool! My cake is inspired by art too...

I picked out my wedding cake today! I went and booked it after only going to 2 bakeries. I saw the actual cake at the first bakery and it was $8 a slice! It would have been $750! So I took the picture to the 2nd baker and it's only going to be around $400, including delivery. Woot! Another plus being that the first baker required fondant for the cake, the second is going to do it all in buttercream. Yum.
I have never quite seen anything like it. It's perfect. I'm doing polka dots and my venue has tons of stained glass along 2 of the 4 walls.

The first pic is the quick line drawing I did in PS to show the changes. The baker won't do the black spacers, which I'm not too thrilled about because I love the look with them. The 2nd pic is the cake pic I took in.
