What kind of stamps did you use for your invitations?
I can’t tell if I’m being completely over the top with details or if other brides cared about their stamps too……
I saw that Zazzle makes custom stamps, but I don’t love the website URL on the stamps & the bar code too. http://www.zazzle.com/wedding+stamps
Maybe I’m being crazy………… special stamps…..

I think you are being completely over the top, because the envelope gets thrown away 99.9999% of the time. But if you really have your heart set on it, do it. Just don’t let it consume you with crazy

cls9q: I used the weddingcake stamps from the USPS, I couldn’t stomach the extra cost of zazzle but still wanted something wedding so it worked well for us 🙂

I got our return address stamp from this shop and loved it. I really feel it added a special touch to our invites and we stamped them in our custom color 🙂 https://www.etsy.com/shop/stampoutonline?ref=l2-shopheader-name
Whoops totally was thinking the wrong type of stamp!
We didn’t get those although I would have loved to I just didnt plan ahead

I did the wedding cake and the roses because mine required extra postage.

You’re being extra about this. It’s just stamps. On an envelope that will be thrown away immediately and never looked at again.

As you would say- “no one cares”

Like the previous posters, I also used the wedding cake stamp off the USPS website for my mailing envelope and the white wedding roses on my RSVP return envelope. Nothing over the top or customized and paid what I would have for any other postage stamp design.

I almost bought zazzle stamps..but then reality hit me when I added up how much it would cost to mail 130 invites. In the end I knew no one would probably even notice or care about my special stamps and they would just get thrown out anyway. So I just bought some nice ones from the US post office..they acctually have some nice ones if you look online. I got the traditional wedding cake and roses ones but I also got these to:
They actually looked really nice on my green envelopes. Just take a look on their wedsite, you will find something you like..and it wont cost you a ton.

LOL. I used regular stamps for the outer envelope and he RSVP envelope. It gets thrown away.

cls9q: I used whatever the counter had at the post office that was wedding-ish. It was fine.

The post office sells prettier stamps. They have flower ones, bird ones, white roses, white wedding cake (which is what I used) and heart ones.

DaniDev143: I love those! I didn’t see them on the us postal site?
