Yes, that is fine, as long as they haven't been used previously (don't have the postmarks/ink on them). No problem at all!
You can use any combination of unused stamps that equals or exceeds the required postage.

So I actually got this idea off of wedding bee, but now that I am about to do it, I'm getting a little nervous. I bought a bunch of stamps on ebay...none of them have been used, they are all "new." They have multiple small denominations from the 80s.....I will have no problems using these stamps as long as it equals the proper amount right? I wanted to do this to create a vintage, multi-stamp look on the envelopes. Thoughts?
