Weddingbee boards

Do you all remember how scared I was to shop for dresses (afraid that they would all be made for lovely size 2 ladies)?

Well, I started shopping last week, and while I was really nervous, I ended up being really pleasantly surprised! There were a ton of dresses that actually made me feel really beautiful and special...and isn't that how we should feel on our wedding days?

I visited two shops and have three favorite dresses right now. I still want to do more shopping...which will only make the decision even more difficult. But I am glad I "broke the ice" and don't have to be so afraid for the next time we go shopping!!!

One of the consultants I worked with was awful, but the other was so warm and welcoming that she made up for it. And overall...I had fun! And I am so happy to share that with you all after you were so wonderful trying to alleviate my dress fears! Thank you bees!

Thanks MissAsB! And unfortunately, my vey favorite dress so far is at the store where we worked with her. So if we do end up deciding on that one, we are a little wary of returning and working with her again.

Hi Lilyfaith! Thank you! I can't find images for the two dresses I liked at the second store, but my very favorite so far (from the not-so-nice lady) is the Maggie Sottero Ambrosia. Here's the link to the designer page...except I would want it in Diamond White, not the color shown.

And you're right...we don't really want her to get commission because she didn't really help us at all. We checked and there are no other stores in Cincinnati where we can get Maggie Sottero, but we are willing to drive elsewhere if necessary (if we decide to get that one). My mom also thinks we should just ask for a different consultant.
