@Soon2BD-CBee: I always wear leggings to the gym because I feel like loose fitting pants could get caught up easier while I’m doing my cardio. I also always wear a loose fitting t-shirt. I’m not there to impress anyone, and I get really hot so, i feel like it helps keep me cooler 🙂

As long as your comfy and cool thats all that matters!

ETA: Don’t wear such a loose fitting shirt that your drowning in it. I asume you already knew this, but I use to wear huge t-shirts to the gym and I would boil because of all the extra material lol

I usually wear cropped yoga pants– black, so sweat doesn’t show, a sports bra, and a loose racerback tank made out of thin breathable material. I cannot stand wearing anything with sleeves, even short sleeves, to the gym… too sweaty.

One thing I hate about the yoga pants is that my crotch area gets all sweaty and after my workout it feels soooo gross to have tight pants on. But I have a hard time finding loose workout pants. I have tried wearing shorts but I like to use the exercise bike and they get all bunched up and annoying!

@Soon2BD-CBee:  I’m addicted to Nike Dry Fit or Adidas Climalite black capri length leggings. They are not see through, soak up sweat and are incredibly comfortable…and flattering. I don’t suggest wearing loose fitting clothing if you are going to be doing a lot of moving around. Nothing is worse than worrying about your pants falling down (been there, done that).

For the top I again stick to Nike Dry Fit (sucker for this stuff) loose fitting tank tops over a black cami and sports bra. I exercise and/or play volleyball six days a week so I practically live in this stuff. Under Armor has some great (and cheap) tank tops that are a unique type of cotton, love those too and they come in super bright fun colors.

The key is to be comfortable but not look like a complete disaster, at least in my mind.

@Soon2BD-CBee:  Kohl’s was having a sale last week, check it out. Sports Authority or Dick’s Sporting Goods usually have them slightly discounted as well.

Rule of thumb, don’t wash them too hot (I usually do warm/cold) and don’t put them in the dryer. Hang them on a door handle or over a chair to dry (don’t lay flat on top of itself)…they will last a lot longer.
