Things are finally starting to go the right way! The boy has been offered a job...by MY employers. Although we'll be working together in the same sort of position we will barely see anything of each other. This means we can go out and get a mortgage :D. I have a list in my favourites of all the houses I like (that he likes too).
There are a few flies in the ointment on his side. His parents don't really know completely of his plan to move. The fool hasn't kept them informed, but that is partly because he can't get a word in edgeways with his mum talking about trivial stuff. Plus he reckons she'll hit the roof as she still seems to think her son is 22 and not 28.5. Secondly his employers are bricking it. He does 70% of the work in a small place. Their trainee will start in July. They are now trying to get him to stay for longer! I've told him that he should tell them where to shove it. He's only there now because his contract makes him stay. I wouldn't mind but they seem to have little respect for their employees. They haven't furthered his career in any way with courses and stuff. I am NOT waiting ANY longer.
on a more jokey note I've said to him the longer he keeps me waiting to get engaged, the longer I leave it to tell him when I get pregnant! I've said I could leave it 5 months if he drags it out!!! hahaha
So yes, despite the delusionals, everythings coming together to be together in October :D
