So far, all of that adds up to $3,850 (if I did the math right), and so you have $1,150 left over. Your paper goods will be pretty cheap — I used Vistaprint, and all my paper goods (STD postcards, invitations, thank you cards, postage for all) came out to just under $300 (yay for the Vistaprint groupon!). If you’re printing them yourself, it will be even less.

Your flowers shouldn’t be too much — I think you’ve picked relatively inexpensive flowers. One thing you might want to consider is whether your florist provides vases for free or if you have to rent them from her. Our florist was going to charge us rental costs for the vases, so I got them all at garage sales for really cheap. Our flowers (centerpieces for 16 tables, 1 bride bouquet, 4 BM bouquets) are $400.

I think the main thing that I would be worried about going over on would be food. I have no idea how much your catering would be, but maybe you should shop around and get average prices on that before you set your firm budget. Our catering is over half our total wedding cost, but if you have friends bring food, that should help a lot!

Things you might be forgetting or maybe just don’t include in your budget: honeymoon, rings, marriage license, officiant, hair and makeup, tips for your vendors.

It’s definitly doable.  Your budget is similar to mine, but you are paying a lot more for you venue, your photographer and your band.  So far I’m doing good with my budget… and I added a DJ, MUA, and transportation to the budget LOL.  So it can be done.

Don’t forget all the little things that add up like wedding accessories, wedding party gifts (unless you count your contribution to their attire their gift), and parents gifts.  Also, guestbook, escort cards, etc… Good luck.

How about officiant fees, marriage license, liquor licenses, Favours, centrepieces, guest book, card box, jewelery, undergarments, hair, makeup, nails and transportation?
