Did any of you ladies wear a statement necklace for your wedding or just normally? I am loving a plain simple dress with a larger necklace. I was thinking of doing clear or white (preferably ivory) statement to go with it and yellow gold hardware. I have my eye on the nicole miller dakota with a crinoline to add slight volume.
Im having a hard time finding a statement necklace that isnt all over the place, so ladies show me your favorites

I was looking at this one but not sure how it will play off of the ivory dress:
I was liking this one too but I dont think its big enough but I like how simple it is:

- Wedding: March 2014 - A castle!
I wore a statement necklace.
I didn’t wear the earrings pictured, and the flower was actually worn by the bridesmaids. I did wear the ring pictured as a RHR. I mixed metals also and had a silver rhinestone bracelet and white gold rings (e-ring, wedding rings).

I normally wear statement necklaces, almost daily, but my wedding dress has a bit of a high neck and lots of bling so I think I’ll skip wearing a necklace entirely.

I went with a gold necklace since the bodice will have beading on it and I didn’t want to be too bling-ey lol

I wore a statement necklace from Kate Spade. Here’s pics of it on it’s own and with the dress.

Someone I know wore a strapless gown with a HUGE pearl and crystal statement necklace. I must say that is was one of my favorite and unique wedding looks I have seen. I try to wear statement necklaces sometimes, and they are just so heavy that they make my neck hurt that I never make it past a few hours. I wanted comfort, so I decided on an interesting neckline without a necklace, but if statement necklaces weren’t so uncomfortable I may have considered a strapless dress.

I love statement pieces. I will wear this (and my dress is also ivory) :

anemone681: I have the second necklace and I love it, but I don’t think it is enough for a wedding. I wear it all the time and it goes with everything, so if you need an everyday statement necklace, this is a great choice because it is so versatile! I got mine from Amazon.com and I get compliments on it whenever I wear it.

Mrs. Chai: I had a feeling that it was on the smaller side once I got it home, but I will definitely be wearing it regularly.
llussier: definitely loving some of those necklaces. the nicole miller is perfect for a statement necklace but the buttery color is throwing me as its right between white and ivory so its hard to choose.
MrsEmeraldLover: I love your entire look, you look amazing!
