Please beware of Wessel's Florist in Ellicot City, MD.  I had a horable experience with them. I received a contract for one amount, 5 months later I wanted to have a mock-up with all of my vendors. They told me I had to pay an additional $50 for 2 centerpieces. I  paid. The flowers where the wrong color, when the contract clearly stated the color, the flowers where beginning to die, and the other arrangement had completely closed flowers when they should have been open.  After numerous attempts to reach my contact person, I was finally told that she quit (now I know why).  After the mock up, the owner (Jennifer) sent me a contract for $1600 more than the original contract!!!! She stated that they added wrong on the original contract only after I called to inquire.  She refused to honor the original agreement. So of course I wanted t cancel. She will only give me half of my $650 deposit back!!  She hasn't provided any services, I wanted to cancel 2 months in advance of my event, plus she changed the contract, not me.  I can't believe this situation, needless to say I am still desputing the fact that she refuses to refund my full deposit she keeps throwing up the fact that she use to be an attorney. But right is right. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!  Flowers are not worth the high prices, not enough staff to handle events.

Don't waste your time, stay away! And make sure to tell other brides to do the same.
