After going back and forth in my mind about calligraphy vs. handwriting vs. printing vs. labels, I’ve finally decided on the envelope concept for our STDs! I used grocery bag envelopes, a vintage floral frame graphic from The Graphics Fairy, and the font is “Dawning of a New Day” printed with an inkjet printer. I used archival pens to color in the flowers/leaves for some color and floral fabric tape is on the back to seal the envelopes.
I still need to print more personal info on the back of the STD (specific dates, address, website), but progress is being made! And with 150’ish of these to go out, progress needed to happen 🙂

Beautiful, love it all. Did you design the STD? And you’re having a 6-day wedding celebration?

@BooRadley: I can’t take all the credit for the STD design. I used a travel poster design licensed from Lantern Press (they are awesome to work with) and then I overlayed our information using photoshop. And yes, 6 days of wedding fun! Hence why we’re sending out Save-The-Date Cards so early; guests have already been hounding us for details and we’ve already got confirmed RSVPs.
