Weddingbee boards

These were a bit more work than I had intended, mainly because every time I went online or to Papersource to look for supplies, I came up with another idea I wanted to incorporate. I think they evolved nicely. Ours is a small wedding so it wasn't too backbreaking to assemble them all. My best-friend-bridesmaid and I did most of the grunt work while watching Battlestar Galactica. It feels weird now that they're gone, so I thought I'd share.

The illustration was hand-drawn by one of my closest friends from college whom I now live 3,000 miles away from, so I really appreciated her doing this design for us. I think she did a lovely job, and it turned out even better than I had hoped. Here's to artistically talented and generous friends!

There is a little magnetic strip on the back so that people can hang them on their refrigerators. I felt a little bit of pressure to make them look nice when I imagined them hanging right in folks' faces for six months, staring at them every time they reach for the milk. :)

The calligraphy was done by a very friendly woman who lives not far from my family and where I grew up, she advertised in the WB classifieds and I definitely recommend her, she only charges 50 cents per envelope! I can't for the life of me find her WB username otherwise I'd give her a plug here.
