Our website has all the details our guests could ever ask for. But we just sent out our save the dates with our website address on them and I’m wondering should we “hide” some of our pages so they will look at the site again with the invitations? I may have made a mistake putting the website on the STD’s but oh well too late now. The pages I would hide are the Sunday brunch (we are not hosting) the directions, and the tid bits pages. I will leave the accommodations page, the request a song page and the registry page and our cover page of course…..? Opinions please

I’m confused — why exactly would you hide them? People will go back to get more info as needed… I wouldn’t hide anything.

@classyashley: I guess so, I think I just had the realization that the save the date is basically an invitaiton if they can just get all the info they need online… whats the point of the invites now? I’m still going ahead with them but I just had one of those crazy bride moments were I thought it would make a difference haha

I wouldn’t hide them.
Most of your guests won’t even look at the website too much now, maybe just admire it, but not really go looking for information. Once it gets closer to the time and the invites go out, you’ll have ALOT more folks going on the website for directions/acommodations/and event info.

The point of the invites is still to formally invite everyone to celebrate your day. If you don’t want people to see some specific information until the formal invite goes out then just hide it. It’s really no big deal and it would probably take you only a few minutes to do so. Just do what you think is right.

Thanks ladies, you’re very right. Im not going to touch it. What will be will be and the more time they have with that infor in their hands is probably better anyway. Thanks for the input!
