I found the bee sometime in August and as wonderful it has been reading everyone’s post and seeing the most beautiful dresses and e-rings – im sad to say that I am stepping away for a while.
I think all the talk about weddings and dresses to my SO has actually made things worse for my relationship, even though most times the subject of marriage was brought up by him I think it must have scared him at how much I really would like to get married. Im not saying that I want to get married to “keep up with the jones'” but being on here has made me realize that I was once scared of the thought of being married, now I can honestly say that through all that we been through, our kids and the love that we have for each other already shows me that the life Im living is already the life of a wife.
So I will be back whenever his gets down on the that one knee with a beautiful ring professing his love for me.
I want to thank everyone for my hours of reading, the many ideas for my future wedding and I wish everyone luck on their waiting progress!!!

To @Plum4getful: Sorry to see you go but understand the reasoning
(FYI there is more to the Bee than just the Waiting & Wedding Boards, there is a lot of great stuff that goes on in the NWR & Nesting Boards too… so don’t be a stranger, you can still drop by sometimes)
Will be looking forward to you returning and your wonderful news and as another Bee said… seeing THE RING.
Take care (( HUGS ))

I think that is smart! I have been obsessing over getting engaged but waited to join until I got engaged last month. Reading discussions about things you are anxiously awaiting to participate in is not fair for you. I think also that when youre involved with “all things wedding related” before you get engaged, it might send mixed signals to your SO. He might begin to wonder if it’s about him or the wedding. As I plastered pictures of engagement rings on my fridge for months, my SO asked me that question. It made me feel terrible that he even had to ask that. As exciting as it is to talk about weddings, once it is a reality it is so much more special. We will see you back soon ; )

So, I only lasted 3 days from the Bee….how that saying goes “easier said than done”
Thank you for your kind words @GoldfishPie: @This Time Round: @mckey430: But the bee is waayyy too addictive. I guess if I cant stay off the Bee, I would at least need to keep my mouth shut and create a binder full of ideas rather than blab my mouth to my SO. If the topic of rings/weddings etc happens to come, I will remain cool and not be so excited. maybe I should have another go at that Shut it up pact again.

Hi @Plum4getful: haha, glad to see you back.
Forget the clippings… if you haven’t yet, you need to discover Pinterest. Talk about addictive !! AND BONUS… you can create “secret / hidden” Pin Boards (up to 3) that only you can see (or anyone logged into your account… anyone just browsing and coming across your Pinterest Account sees ONLY your Public Boards)
I learned about Pinterest thru fellow Bees, and I used the Secret Boards for my Wedding Planning ideas… Ceremony – Reception – Honeymoon
Worked out great.
