has anybody tried either of these for a bra or just to help hold the dress up?

I'm a 34 B and i just need a little lift and shape and my dress in the back falls too low. I have a tattoo and It shows a little and I kind of want the dress to cover it in the back

I haven't tried those particular ones, but I have a Nu-Bra and it's awesome. I have really big knockers (34D) and it doesnt necessarily give me lift and support, but it holds them in place. I've heard that for B's and C's it's the perfect bra. It's a little expensive, but totally worth it and reusable.

In a dress like that, though, I might have a seamstress put cups in.

these bras work for some people (not me). just be cautious, i know a lot of people who "sweat it of"-literally.

If you're going to use the tape, use wig tape.  You can buy it at a beauty supply store for cheap, and it's made to hold stuff to skin, so it's harder to sweat off (plus it's easy to have one of your girls carry it in their clutch for touch ups through the day/night if need be).  My best friend is a dancer and has always used double stick wig tape to hold costumes in place, she's the one that introduced me to it and now I use it constantly.

I've never been able to get these to work. It just looks like I'm braless (for perspective, I usually wear a 36 B/C, depending on the bra maker and style).

I would put in a vote for fashion tape to hold clothing in place, though. I used some for a costume this week. It held cloth together, and held the whole piece in place, for the whole night.
