I would wait a another week or two, it’s very possible he’s super backed up.. I know your contract says 6 weeks but he could have had an emergency or something else super urgent come up.

From the sounds of it he’s not even a week over that mark yet. Hold off for just a little bit longer, unfortunately sometimes there are speed bumps.

when in July did you get married?  I asked because your wedding date says August.  If it was late July I would hold off until the last week in September (if it were me).   It’s only early September!

BearBear47:  Just give him a little bit more time. I always tell my clients it’s typically 6-8 weeks, but sometimes you get backed up for circumstances out of your control. You reached out, he said you were next, so I would just give him a little more time. You said the 6 week mark isn’t even over yet so he’s still got time. I’ve had some of the most silly things cause me delays before – random things like my proofing site doing an update and being down (preventing me from getting galleries uploaded) or an entire week of rain which meant every single photo session getting rained out (keeping me out of the office, and away from editing to accomodate breaks in the weather). We’re all human. 😉 Obviously we don’t want to make a habit of being late on delivering to clients but if you’re experiences thus far have been positive with him it will all work out!

BearBear47:  His turnaround time is FAST!  I would give him another week and then when you message him let him know that you don’t want to rush him, just want to know the status of your pictures.  If he asks for feedback let him know that in the future if he’s handling several weddings during peak wedding season he needs to change that number so that he fulfills his end of the bargain!
