It’s been a few months since i’ve purchased my wedding dress – and I am still unsure it’s the one. It felt like the one the day I bought it (although I was recovering from oral surgery and on pain pills!). I went back to the bridal salon to “visit” my dress, hoping to fall in love with it all over again. Unfortunately, I didn’t.
The lady that helped me into my dress didn’t want to clip the back because the sample was my actual dress. This caused me to almost hate it more cause I couldn’t get the same look and feel I had felt the first time.
I am really at a loss for what to do. My wedding is seven months away so I am running out of time to make a decision. I feel like this is the biggest day of my life and I should love my dress way more than I do now. Should I look for another? HELP! Have you experienced this? What did you do? Any advice would be great.

Do you have any photos?
I had a love/hate relationship with my dress up until the day before the wedding. When I picked it up, all pressed and altered, and put it on the next day, I knew I made the right decision by sticking with my original feelings toward it.
But, it was an agonizing 10 months when I was waffling!

Just saw your other post with a photo – I think it looks lovely on you. But yours is the opinion that ultimately matters.

The dress looks gorgeous on you!
But as Goldilocks said, it’s your opinion that matters. If the problem is because you don’t think it suits your personality, I would recommend finding a dress that when you look at it, does suit you. I think that might help you decide.

I’m not sure what the problem is, lol! I think it is a bit vintage and not so couture, although I love vintage. I think the hip area looks huge, because your eyes are drawn to it. I think I need to try on more dresses but that scares me too! Thanks for the advice ladies.

I think you look stunning in that gown. I mean it. If you hadn’t hidden your face, I would have thought it was another model in it.

Would you feel better in it if you had your hair/makeup done and with accessories?
Personally, I feel “ugly” in pretty clothes when I’m not dressed up myself. Maybe I’m just crazy 🙂

The gown looks great on you! But if you are having serious doubts I say go try on a few more dresses. You’ll either find something you do love or you will re-discover what you loved about the current dress.

Your hips look great in your dress! Not huge at all, not even big. I think the dress is beautiful on you, but if you don’t like it and have the means, then get a new dress. You don’t want to regret what you wore for the rest of your life. You could always sell the old dress.
