@cbco:  Hmmm it still hasn’t. Honestly.

It took me about 4-5 days before I was willing to admit it to those that asked on WB. Here we are at seven weeks and I still cannot really believe it. We hear the heartbeat today and I am guessing that will make it all very real. 🙂

@cbco:  I wasn’t shocked to get considering we had a slip but however it’s still unbelievable to think I have this little sweet baby growing inside of me. It fills me with joy.

@cbco:  Congrats on the BFP!!! I was in disbelief for the first couple days, but I also have a toddler so I knew pregnancy was a definite possibility lol.

I’m with you. I don’t really feel pregnant symptom-wise (a little more tired, crampy, sore boobs, irritable – but most can be explained as something else anyway) so that’s making it extra hard to believe that it’s real. I guess I always felt like it would be this momentous thing and BAM life is totally changed as soon as I got the BFP…but not really. I mean work is still stressful, life is still the same, but I just (apparently) am growing a baby inside me. I did wean myself off of POAS every day and moved it to every 2-3 days, but it definitely hasn’t sunk in….maybe when I see the first ultrasound in January. Or if MS or significant symptoms start to kick in…

@cbco:  I think it really hit me when I saw him on the scan at 17 weeks and I could see a real baby in there! Not that I didnt believe it when I got my positive test, but seeing him was what made it all real!

I am not shocked anymore than we are pregnant, but like MrsWBS, it hasn’t sunk in that I will physically have a baby to hold come spring. It is so weird planning the coming year’s activities with a baby in mind.

My baby is coming next week and while the pregnancy sunk in a while ago, the fact that I am going to have a child to raise still hasn’t!

Congrats!

I’m 30 weeks now, I’m starting to get used to it.
I was like that with my first son too, I remember they showed him to me for the first time and I was like “WTF….there really was a baby inside of me!” It’s super overwhelming.

When we got to hear the hearbeat for the first time, and then at our first ultrasound at 12 weeks. Also when I feel movement… It’s funny though because those are the types of moments where it really sinks in but then there are also moments that I forget we will becoming a family of three in the spring. I go back and forth 🙂
