oooo and the prices:
red long dress: $90
short red with black lace: $130
halter red dress with black: $100
I LOVE the first one! It kind of looks like the one she wears in the beginning of the movie too which is even cooler! The other two are also very pretty though so I can definitely see how your choice is difficult!
I LOVE the middle one - red with black lace. Not crazy about the halter one.
@bella13 i know!! it looked like the one she wore, i have a website where i can buy the replica for the dress she wore but it cost 700 and i dont hink i can pay that...
@sunshine23 im not feeling the halter that much but my FI love it because it has skulls on it
i think the first one is pretty bland, sorry. the second one, though: the second one is BEAUTIFUL. great cut, great lace, it just does everything right. is it a vintage piece? if not, it manages to pull off an authentic vintage look, which not many "faux-vintage" items do. it's a great dress, very sexy but in a way that still maintains some modesty, something real vintage from the 50's-60's does so well! the third one i do not really care for. it's better than the first, but it doesn't look like it has a very good fit/cut.
The middle one is my fave. The longer one would work well with your theme too. But there's just something about that black lace overlay and sash that makes it my first choice.
Have you tried them on? Take a look at http://dressfinder.com and see what catches your eye.
A local seamstress will be cheaper than a seamstress online. And someone with the sewing talent to be in that line of work should be able to recreate just about anything.
The first one is classy, but if you're going for a Moulin Rouge theme, I feel the short lace is your best option! Very cool theme!!!
I'm not liking the halter dress at all.
I voted for the second one, but I'd say the first or second for your theme!
I'm a huge fan of 50s style dresses, so I love the second one with the black lace. It's so fun! The halter one has a cheapish look to it, so I'd steer far from that one. The first one is nice, but not as cheerful as the second.
THANK YOU LADIES FOR YOUR COMMENTS... IT NICE TO HAVE A LOT OF OPINIONS AND GETTING THEM ALL IN ONE PLACE IS A PLUS
