@mdglass:  I have been in your shoes. Our 1st month trying my period was 3 weeks late! I wws so frustrated but I didnt think I was preg. We had a very stressful month the previous month (we sold our house bought a new 1 and moved all within 2 months) so my dr said stress prob delayed my period. I had 2 more normal cycles. Then in Nov I didnt really have a period just some spotting very light a couple of days. Preg tests all showed neg so I took it to mean that was my period. When it came time for my Dec period the days came and went and I realized I felt very tired all the time and had no appetite at all. I took a test not expecting it to be positive at all and low and behold it was! So all the negative tests I took in Nov I was just testing too early I guess and I ovulated late. Theres def still a chance you are preg. Good luck!

@mdglass:  How are you sure you ovulated on 11/27? What made you sure?

I think it’s pretty uncommon to get so many BFP especially so long after your suspected O date. It does happen, but it’s not very likely. Still, fingers crossed for you!

I’m NTNP, but still in the same boat. I am CD37 with cycles being 29-33 days lately, but I have had cycles well over 40 days too 🙁

I got EWCM on CD18, but no PMS symptoms, as in usually my breasts hurt for 2 straight weeks until AF but I’ve yet to feel any discomfort there, and I haven’t gotten my usual PMS acne break out either. My lower back has been supremely achey for the last 5 days, which I usually only get the first day of AF. Luckily I also haven’t gotten any PMS rage either! All negative tests. *flushes $20 bill*

You may have had an annovulatory cycle, it happens. Positive OPKs don’t necessarily mean that an egg has been released so while they’re helpful they can’t tell you for sure that you’ve actually ovulated.

You also may have o’d late and your HCG isn’t high enough yet to pick up on the test.

Hopefully the post-holiday wind down will bring us an answer either way! Not sure about your doctor, but here they wont bother looking into it until you’ve missed 3 straight periods.

@mdglass:  that doesnt mean you ovulated.  The only way to really know is if you were temping. You can have a surge but no egg release in that month and get multiple surges in one cycle.

I’m on my iPhone sorry but wanted to link you to my post that I started because I had the same issue as you. Ended up with a really long cycle and ovulated later than I thought. Wasn’t preggo and was really late.

I’m in the same boat.  First cycle off BC was 37 days long.  This is my second cycle off BC and I’m on CD50 with no BFP and no AF in sight.  Life sucks.  🙁

You obviously didn’t ovulate a month ago… If you were 6 weeks pregnant you’d be getting a BOLD line on a pregnancy test.

If OPK’s are your only indicator & you stopped taking them after your 1st +, unfortunately, you could have ovulated any time in the past month (or not at all yet). :-/
