Ok, I’ll play!

1. Get in touch with the manager of the venue for our welcome party (I’ve been calling/emialing her for a week with no response…I’m getting annoyed)

2. Finalize menu for rehearsal dinner

3. Pick up rehearsal dinner dress from alterations

4. Practice first dance

5. Print out welcome booklets and kids booklets

6. Order stuff for welcome baskets

7. Finish seating chart

8. finish place cards

9. Write wedding vows

10. Get final haircut

11. Print out labels for water bottles

12. make tags for welcome bags


Whew. I guess it’s not that bad. All the major stuff is done.

1. Final meeting with my rabbi/officiant to go over ceremony details

2. Get the “glass” to be stepped on (Jewish tradition)

3. Organize/complete the seating chart

4. Get final haircut, waxing, nail appointment, etc.

5. See if there’s any other alterations that still need to be done on my dress.

Hooooo boy.


1.  Get my dress altered (first fitting tonight, yep *headdesk*)

2.  Meet with the venue coordinator to finalize menu and all the numbers

3.  Seating plan, place cards

4.  Table numbers

5.  Wash/dry/iron all the tablecloth overlays and chair sashes

6. Assemble my centerpieces

8.  Fill my favour bags

9.  Finish beading my veil

10. Finish my officiant’s kilt

… I forgot #7, I’m losing my mind, and I’m a natural blonde to boot, LOL

– Buy honeymoon lingerie

– mail some of the final payments

– final meeting with DJ

– Call caterer about gluten allergy for one guest

– order cookies for favors

-get final head count /RSVP’s and work on seating

-pick up my dress before we jet off to Cali

-go insane once we reach Cali trying to organize the 12743573498 things I had shipped to MIL’s house!

Yay I got to cross a few things off my list this week! Now both FI are stuck with a bad cold so the #1 thing on my list is to get rid of this cols ASAP!

2. Find thank you charms for favor boxes.

3. Make playlist for end of evening.

4. Practice first dance.

5. Practice first kiss? haha

6. Make final payment on my dress (fittings are done yay!)

7. Pay for everything

8. Speak with photographers about arrival time and overall schedule

9. Meet with Wedding coordinator in Aruba

10. Makeup/hair trial

11. Assemble favor boxes

12. Do all the pre-wedding prep: hair, nails, waxing, facial


We can do it ladies! In only a few short weeks we will all me Mrs. 🙂

I just want to say enjoy this time!! It’s an amazing (though crazy) time. When I think of my wedding I don’t just think of the day but also the lead up. It really was an amazing time in spite of the stress!!

2. Email my uncle who is doing a reading
3. Clean and prepare the house
4. Hair cut, nails, waxing, etc.
5. Keep wearing my wedding shoes in!
6. Organise food

In the USA:

1. Make the final payment to the venue

2. Email the DJ with our song list

3. Pick up my dress – Sat

4. Pack!!

5. Print out stuff for our ceremony

6. Make up an emergency kit with stuff like safety pins, needle and thread, asprin, etc

7. Arrange transport to the airport

8. Finish the last DIY project

9. Day of beautification: Get hair cut, nails done and eyelashes and eyebrows done. 

At the destination:

1. View the venue and meet the coordinator

2. Meet the officiant

3. Pick up marriage license

4. Hair trial

5. Meet the photographer

6. Get the dress pressed

7. Make up the favours

8. Spa day 

9. Pick up the cake 

10. Set up all the stuff the day before. 

11. Wear in shoes. 

12. Rehersal and dinner after.
