I’ve made post about how much I hate waiting on my SO to propose so I thought I would share how sweet he can be.

So we won’t be able to do the normal mushy stuff we usually do on Valentine’s Day because I am in a weekend MBA program and class falls on valentine’s weekend. I was a tad bit bummed because the weekend after that is his bday weekend and I didn’t want to take away from his birthday by celebrating Valentine ’s Day. To my surprises my SO texted me this morning and told me that the weekend of the 22nd was going to be our weekend and he wanted to celebrate his birthday by spending the weekend with me. He told me to make absolutely no plans because he has everything taken care of and to take Friday off work (done!). He knows I have serious anxiety so he told me exactly what he has planned.

Friday morning we are going to my favorite breakfast spot and after that  we are going for a couples massage. After the massage we are getting pedicures (he really wants to try it out lol) and he scheduled a manicure for me. After that we are going to change and head to lunch. Later in the evening we are heading to the new movie theater that was just built in my town. Its super high class, they serve you dinner and wine while you are enjoying the film. Saturday we are doing some shopping then we are headed to the museum that was just built on our College campus. Saturday he is cooking for me (he is an awesome cook) and Sunday we will just enjoy each other’s company.

To some this is a normal weekend with their SO but for us this is super exciting. We are both work and go to school full time. We have opposite schedules so spending time with each other is something we have to plan. The weekend is even more exciting because HE planned it.  I am trying not to get my hopes up about a proposal even though I am suspecting it will be feb. or early March. The fact that he scheduled a manicure is what got me thinking because I told him under no circumstances should he propose unless I had a fresh manicure lol Honestly I am excited to spend the weekend with my love and a proposal will be far from my mind because even after 10 years I still get lost in him when we are together J

@jigga143:  I think this is just the sweetest thing ever!! That sounds like an absolutely marvelous weekend! I agree with you, him planning it makes it very special. That is so sweet of him! That is too adorable that he scheduled a manicure for you!! I love this whole thing! I think you have the right mindset putting the proposal out of your mead, when you least expect it, it will happen!! have a fabulous time this weekend!

BTW I totally want to go to that movie theatre, that sounds ridiculous!!!

It's actually not this weekend (i totally wish it was). He is so sweet but I am a control freak so he has a hard time surprising me! for all I  know he can be making super secret plans and this could all be a front lol.  

I am so excited for the movies its been open for a few months now and I've heard nothign but good things about it!

That is stinking adorable! Make sure to come back and tell us about it when it's over!

@amallama:  I will!! If you read the post I just wrote you will see that we are in an unusual situation. we have basically planned our wedding without being engaged.... he is a very strange man lol

Ok, I totally don't want to get your hopes up, but the manicure thing appears to be a serious hint, especially if he has never taken an interest in your beauty appointments in the past!

But like others have said, it sounds like a great weekend no matter what :)
