I can’t believe my little munchkin is 3 months old already! She has started wanting to be out of her carseat and sitting up to look around while we are out and about, so the last few trips have left me holding her, pushing her car seat/snap in stroller, and trying to haul stuff. LOL. I need another stroller for her! We have a Bob revolution for running, walking, etc and I freaking love it…but it’s too big to go in the car all the time and she shouldn’t be usingg it without the carseat until 6 mos. I want something light, easy to take in and out of the car, and that sits upright with multiple recline positions. I’ve been eyeing the uppababy g-luxe. Anyone have that? It’s so pricey! Any recommendations?
BTW – I should add that she hates the infant carriers – ergo, bjorn, moby – we’ve tried them all!

@mrsmjm: I am totally new to this, but I thought you just should not jog with them until at least 6 months, but walking with them in the Bob was OK before that. Especially if you transfer the head support from the carseat.

I heard great things about the graco literider stroller odyssey – so I registered for that. My sister did the infant car seat, the cheapo stroller frame, and then that lightweight stroller above and she was the same as you – around 4 months she didnt even use the frame anymore and went strictly to the lightweight.
Anyway- she said that one was nice and light, and still smooth, and had a tray which she said was a lifesaver.

I picked up a baby jogger city micro on clearance from Target last month and I really like it. It’s 17 lbs and has a one hand fold design. Even though it’s called baby jogger, it’s not for jogging though so good for having in the car to take him places. We took him to the rodeo last week and he cruised around in it, no problem. It was final clearance at Target though because the micro has be discontinued, so you might not be able to find it there unless you’re really lucky, but I know some other online sites still have them. HTH!

We have the Bob Revolution as well! It gets heavy taking it in and out of the car, so we just bought a Maclaren Quest (on sale for $209 from Albeebaby.com)- it’s great! When our son was in the infant carseat, the best portable stroller was a Snap N’ Go- just a frame that the bucket seat drops into. It was sooo awesome! Highly recommend (got it off Craigslist for $30), but it’s not adjustable.

I’ll be following this thread I have no clue which car seat to invest in.
