It can’t hurt to have it checked again. We bought at Helzberg too. I usually have them inspect mine when I bring it by for cleaning (not just at the required 6 month mark).

FWIW, a friend of mine worked at a jewelry store and said pave-set stones will pop out sometimes. She recommended just keeping an eye on them and not using a vibey-shaker-thing for cleaning (not saying you did, but her advice kept me from dropping $60 on an electric cleaner, since my WR has some teeny set stones).

I would get it checked!  I’d also take it to Helzberg in case it has to be fixed, you don’t want to void the warranty/protection plan by letting someone else fix it.

I would have it checked out, just to be sure!

From what I’ve heard about micro pave settings, the stones get loose a lot. Definitely go get it checked out.

So annoying! My ring is also from Helzberg and a pave stone is loose as well. I brought it back to Helzberg today to get it fixed because it is free with them and also because of the warranty concerns mentioned earlier.  I’d definitely take it in to get inspected because it would end up bothering me and keeping me worried and constantly checking it…and if it does fall out it will just be that much more of a hassle. The only downside is that (at least for mine) they have to keep it a few days to get it serviced–sigh.

I agree with the others who said wait for Helzberg. Did you get their care plan? That should cover you even if the diamond falls out and you lose it (which would be awful, but hopefully will give you some peace of mind… that was the whole reason we shelled out the bucks for mine).

Don’t feel bad, if you read back in my posts you’ll see that I had my pave wedding band on for like five minutes (just trying it on), and a stone fell out of it. I was pissed/really upset.

Pave settings will have stones fall out of them on occasion, especially if the ring was sized. When they size it, it affects how the diamonds sit and they can become loose. Mind you I am sure you’re like me and think it probably shouldn’t happen after such a short period of time. I don’t really get it as I have worn my pave enagagment ring for 6 months, banged it hard several times, and never had a stone come out. I guess it just depends?

At least you have the warranty, I would take it in again. They should be able to fix it no problem. I totally know how you feel though.
