My hair is having some serious static cling issues this winter. Haven’t changed my hair routine any from previous years, but it is much longer than normal so I guess that’s why I’m noticing.
Any good tips for preventing static cling in hair or stopping it once it starts? I bought that static-guard spray which works, but it smells awful so I’d rather use something else.

Use a dryer sheet.
Edit: Buy a humidifier. Static builds up when there isn’t a lot of moisture in the air. You can buy 10 hour humidifiers for super cheap at a pharmacy. I bought a personalized cool-mist one (It’s an iddy biddy thing) for my cat when she had respiratory issues for like, 20 bucks.

I keep a dryer sheet in my desk at work and will run it over my hair, it smells nice & works. It’s not a permanent fix, but it helps for a little bit. Also you can try spraying your brush with hairspray & brushing your hair.

Also just keep your hair moisturized. A leave in conditioner might help!
