If your cycle works like clockwork, yes. HOWEVER, a lot of women ovulate right away. It is like the body is so excited to get an chance to ovulate that they go right for it. So you might want to have fun towards the tail end of your period. I also know people who ovulated really late too. So just plan for a busy month or two before you should get intoa regular pattern.

You need to download an app (I use period tracker) & follow your cycle for a few months. If you are really trying to get preg you should pick up taking charge of your fertility. None of us on here are going to know when you’re ovulating! The first few months could be totally wacky.

In a perfect world, yes, all women would ovulate 14 days after the start of their last period, but everyone is different and your cycle may or may not be wonky for a bit after stopping the pill. A lot of women use OPKs to determine when they’re ovulating. I personally found charting my basal body temps to be very helpful, and I was typically ovulating around day 16 – 17 of my cycle.

@RunningGal:  Sounds like a good plan. Best of luck to you!

@RunningGal:  I don’t ovulate until CD 19. Everyone is different. Temping is a great way to know for sure. GL. I second the idea of ordering TCOYF… it’s a very informative read.
