Yeah, I really want to know about this site too. I am desperately hankering after a Replica Claire Pettibone dress, which is heavily embroidered so there is room for so many flaws :(....do I dare?

DO NOT SHOP AT STORE OF DRESS,

I am the horror story you have been waiting to hear. I ordered a dress through Store of Dress, paid immediately and even paid an extra 25% to make sure that the dress arrived completed and on time....still not hear....I am devestated. It was due over a week ago. They emailled me every single day since I placed the order to say my  "dress was in making"............never arrived.

Save yourself the heartache ladies.....

@Tiffany B: I also bought my dress from SOD and I paid the 20% to have it here in 20 business days. That was March 31st and I have yet to see a dress. I called numerous times and no one called me back. I finally get an email response back that says:

Dear Friend,

Oh , I'm sorry about this! We really want to send a perfect dress to you , so there's a little delay!
When you get the dress , we will refund the rush delivery fee!
Thanks and wait for your response.

So i have NO IDEA what to expect right now?! Anyone who has bought from this store, please respond with your input! I'm debating whether or not to call my credit card company...

I order my dress from Store Of Dress on 02/24/2011. I did the two month delivery, so it should have been here the end of this month (April) but to my SURPRISE it was here TODAY 04/05/2011!!! YES THE DRESS IS PERFECT!!! I LOVE IT!! email me and I will send you some pics of it

@cttigner15: I also ordered my dress from Store of Dress. I paid for 2 months delivery which means I SHOULD have received it my March 31 - April 1st. I just received it today April 13th. I am at work so have yet to try it on. So far, it looks nothing like it's photo....

id ordered a dress from dresstimes.com which is alot like SOD and it turned out a lot like the picture but the quality was definitley NOT there! There were a few things where you could tell they werent quite sure what to do so they made it up, i was not happy and their bead work is horrible. I suggest if any one ever orders from these sites which are all very similair, find a dress that will be easy for them to make and NOT challenging! I am so close to my wedding and now have no dress but am still considering ordering from SOD but i they dont have any pics of the bead work they do. Does any one have pictures of their bead work??? The dress i want is the monique Lhuillier Eugenie!!! I dont know how they could get it wrong.....!

I ordered a dress from SOD 5 weeks ago, my dress should be delivered a week ago, but its not here! they were liening saying "we will send it to u today" for a few days, than just stopped reply e-mails. It is impossible to reach them by phone. no idea where is my dress now, was it actually made???

HORRIBLE Service.

@cwharrison: I ordered a prom dress for my daughter through SOD. I did a live chat with "Kate" before ordering, and felt fairly confident that we were on track with the color, fabric, dress, etc. I paid extra for 4 week shipping and the dress arrived exactly on time, which was terrific; color and fabric were great and as expected. 

However, we ordered the dress based on SOD's photo of a designer dress on the runway. I figured it wouldn't look *exactly* the same, but would be close. Wrong. The bodice and waistline were ENTIRELY different than in the designer dress photo, with way less detail.  I emailed SOD and they said 'the dress is an original so how can it be the same'? Pardon?!? The dress is a knock-off of a designer dress, meaning the entire point is that it be the same!!  Especially since the only available photo of the dress I ordered is the designer dress.  We went back and forth a few times, and they eventually offered me a credit of about 20% of the price, which I did appreciate.  Though it cost me more than double the dress price to get it altered so it looked like the designer dress and didn't ruin my daughter's prom.

I checked out the feedback on SOD before ordering, and felt that a lot of the negatives were based on disappointment with ivory versus white colors, lots of customizations that weren't correct, etc.  I figured ordering right off their page would be fine.  I was wrong. Find some other company and stay away from SOD.  You'll get a dress, but it won't be anything like you expect.

She had so patience to answer all the questions we asked and email us if we don't answer it soon.

After that I just searched online for the reviews of the website for 2 days there are some positive also negative.both of them are all talk to the details so finally my mother want to see the fianl dress then she phurse one dress for me I really don't know she did it.

Then now I just pray that dress will comes out perfect then if so I will recmmend it to all my friends!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM STORE OF DRESS!!! I feel like such a dumbass for wasting my time and money... and when I got my dress, I was so broken hearted.  The quality is bad bad bad! I ordered a Sottero & Midgley knockoff from them, and was very disappointed.  First off, I ordered my dress according to their size chart, so my dress should have fit snugly.  I was swimming in it!  It was made 6 sizes bigger than what I had ordered! The gown was supposed to have these beautiful lace pieces, but they were cheap looking, and some were hanging on by a thread. The dress had many hanging threads. The beading was also cheap looking, and the dress was probably only a 60%likeness, where they had guaranteed it would be 95%.  When I contacted them for a return they went back and forth with me and did not want to give me the return address.  They said that I MADE the mistake in sizing order, and they needed pictures to verify.. so I took many pictures to send to these people, and they came back with- can you send them again. I grew more and more furious and irate and threatened not to deal with them anymore, but with their American customer service agent, until they finally agreed to give me 70% of my money back.. should have been all. I was so sad. This is not the experience you want when you are a first time bride who has dreamed of your wedding since you were a little girl.  And I've tried twice to post reviews on the dress on their website so others won't make the same mistake, but they keep deleting them, and have now locked me out. So, head my warning ladies. Don't even consider it!

I purchased this dress from SOD. Kate was very easy to work with, allowing me to tell them exactly what I had wanted. Even with a few changes that I had requested to the dress, they did an outstanding job, using the fabric (silk) that I had requested. Their dresses are not 100% like the picture, but very, very close. It is definitely worth the money to buy a dress from SOD and have it tailored especially for you. I was skeptical at first so I bought a bridesmaids dress from SOD, which came out exactly how I hoped in the same colors I had requested. I'm actually having my bridesmaids buy their dresses from SOD since I've had such a positive experience with them. Bottom line: If you're on a budget and have that "dream dress" in mind, buy from SOD. Specify the components that you REALLY want the same, and they will make sure the dress contains those. None of my requests for changes to the dress were ignored. Thank you SOD for a beautiful wedding dress!

I absolutely do not recommend this website. I ordered a dress and got it within 3 weeks (no rush delivery). I'm guessing they had it in stock and here's why: it fit around my chest and waist, yet around the hips it was about 5 inches too small. I sent it back, it was signed for on March 24th 2011. To this day I haven't received my money back and they claim to have never received it.
