They don’t have a specific “bridesmaid” selection, but Lavish+ specializes in plus size formal wear. This is their website, but there’s more in store. The link may not be clickable, I posted from my iPad.

I have bought a formal gown from them, and loved my experience.

I’m a plus size bridesmaid also in Ontario, and I’m in my second wedding in a few months.  From what I have experienced, most bridal shops don’t carry plus size samples for bridesmaids dresses.  Some stores might carry plus size wedding gown samples, but I have not seen any with plus size samples.

When you go in, you are able to look at the samples, and if there is a smaller bridesmaid who fits in those, then she can try on the dresses for everybody to see.

Basically, for the plus size gal, they will take her measurements, and then look at the sizing chart for the dresses.  A lot of bridesmaid dresses DO come in larger sizes, some up to 24, 28 and 32.  The size you need will vary between designers, which is why the measurements are important.  Also, this is where even though you might wear size 22 jeans, you might end up being told to order a size 28 dress.  Dress measurements aren’t forgiving and often for a specific dress to fit a your hips or bust or waist, it might need to be ordered in a size up and then fitted to you when it comes in.

I know that it might be uncomfortable at the dress shop when all they have is a size 8 sample, which is where the plus size gal needs to speak up (I know its hard, I’m shy and hate doing it, but its worth it to have the best results).  When the other girls are looking at the sample, don’t be afraid to ask the salesperson their opinion as to how it would look in a larger size, and to find something that can flatter you.  Something with an empire waist, or with shoulder straps, or that’s long enough can go a long way, and also keep in mind that with alterations, the dress will look fitted on YOU.

That doesn’t really answer your question, but hope it helps you finding nice dresses for your plus size bridesmaids.
