I haven't ordered from them, but I saw the website too.  There's a Watters' dress that's about $3k retail listed for under $300. So, when I saw this, I was very skeptical.  I personally wouldn't trust the company--I just feel like it would be too risky.  The name of the company: Store of Dress just throws me off too :)  I'd be very curious to see if anyone's purchased from them...

I have not personally ordered from them, but one of my BMs did for her upcoming wedding.  She said the first time she tried it on, a bunch of the beading just fell off.

Are there any others out there who have used Store of Dress online?  Just having a mini-panic attack and second guessing my dress but can't afford to buy the dress I think I might want and I've seen it on the Store of Dress website...either I need to talk myself down from this craziness or make a decision once and for all.  Agh!

I too found the dress I want on this site for way less than I've been able to find it anywhere else.  I would love to hear from anyone who has actually ordered a dress from them.

Soon2bMrsWheeler- how do you know she bought it from them?

Anything that has the word 'replica' in it makes me hella nervous.

I would be hella nervous just from the name alone. Seriously? "Store of Dress"?

This has to be a joke.

I have heard good things about Julius Bridal (a replica store in NY that doesn't outsource)

    Check out bestbridalprices.com

They have designer dresses for a fraction of the price.  I've done my research and have heard nothing but good stuff.  My bridesmaids are getting their dresses from them.

I'd be equally nervous about a recomendation from a Weddingbee user who only has one post.

MBernard-- you sure you don't work for them?

I'm looking at an Elie Saab gown from store of dress.com. I asked them to send me production picture of one that they've made  before I make up my mind.

The name shouldn't make you too nervous...I work for an apparel manufacturer and we work with great quality factories in China who don't speak the best English. We have a woman who indpedendently inspects our garments and I may be able to get her to go to the factory and check it out...

Store of dress contacted me and said that they wouldn't let me send in someone to inspect the gown, even at my own expense. This makes me really not trust them.

Wow, could those last two posts be any more fake? I wouldn't entrust one of the most important wedding-related purchases to a spurious website. But that's just my opinion - some brides appear happy to do this...

I purchase the dress from the storeofdress 20days ago and I received my dress today and I cried when I tried it on. It is absolutly gorgous and perfect. They did an amazing job. I couldn't ask for anything more at all. I would recommend their company to any an everyone. Infact I will be recommending them to all my friends.  it is truly amazing!!

@twizzlo916: Yeah, it's a Chinese spammer site.  BAD UGLY DRESSES.  Don't buy from them.  I wish they would learn that the more they spam, the higher this goes on Google (and that'a bad for business!)

It's good that these threads stay alive though because this stuff does come up in a google search. There are a lot of brides who come across these replica sites and of course who wouldn't be attracted to a designer dress at a fraction of the cost?

Very, very beautiful dress! I ordered it in red and it’s stunning!! I was a little scared at first, but when I opened it today my eyes lit up! I'm a very happy bride! My wedding is in July so I ordered it big to get it altered close to my wedding. :) I'm going to order my bridesmaids and flower girl's dresses from here!

@danielareyna96: You realize this board was created almost a year ago, right?  It seems like you may work for them.  Good to know you searched for the store name and are posting reviews on boards many months old.
