I’m not familiar with this type of chocolate, but my mother makes and sells chocolates so I can tell you a couple of things. You’ll want to store them in a cool dry place out of the sun. There is a possibility that the cocolate could have a bit of powdery whiteness develop on the outside as it gets older. I’ve never tried to keep chocolates as long as you want to. I’m really not sure it’ll work. I definitely wouldn’t open the boxes and divide the chocolates now, that’ll just be asking for the whiteness to develop. But even if you don’t open them now I’m not sure it’s a guarantee that they’ll still look fine in 7 months. They are still edible when the whiteness has developed, they’re just not as visually appealing.
