Would it be ridiculous to hire your own band to cover it? i considered doing this for our first dance, i wanted salsa and he wanted our song "Sunday Morning" by maroon five and we were gonna have it mixed. We know a lot of bands and dj's so i thought it would be easy...we decited against it but it's an option no?

my bridal party is walking to this song...the soundtrack version from the movie...its so beautiful

Ok! I'm putting this out there in wedding-net world! Help! The future hubby and I have started discussing possible wedding songs and the one song FH has suggested is Storybook Love from Princess Bride - a movie we both love. I actually really love the song and lyrics, but find the original by Willy DeVille just a little too....80's. So as a typical bride in the 2000's, I hit the internet thinking that SURELY some great acustic sounding male band (come on, how good would this song sound if someone like Train or Switchfoot had covered it?!) would have done a modern cover of this song...
...or not. I have had no luck and I'm leaning towards the fact that such a cover may not exist. But before I give up all hope, I thought I would ask the Bee's if they were aware of any covers! If anyone would know, surely they would!!
So tell me fellow Bee-nation, can anyone help?
