Does anyone have some great inspiration for very straight and long hair? My hair does not curl (like really doesn’t at all) so I know that is out of the question and not worth trying. I would rather not have my hair down since it will be straight and I feel like it would look so everyday. I’m looking for a sturdy updo that will last all day. I have a lot of hair so it appears thick but the individual hairs are thin (if that makes sense) so it falls out rather easy.
I love the look of a chignon but would love to hear some other ideas! Thanks

I have that same problem, but I think I’m going to end up wearing it down.

That would be my hair too! I have a very round face, so partial up-dos are usually the most flattering on me. You could do a pretty ponytail. I’m loving the loose and low up-dos that were posted recently.

It would be easier to just have to down and be done with it but I would much rather wear it up and not have to worry about it blowing in the wind and everything. Plus I asked FH once if he likes my hair better up or down and he said up so now I really want to have it up.

I’m in your boat… and am probably going messy. I know the few times I’ve ever had an updo it involved a few packs of bobby pins.

This is the look I’m going to try, you can’t see the back but that’s about all the curl my hair can handle. And, its something I can manage throughout the day. I will have a curling iron handy at all times! Lol. Oh, and 3 cans of hairspray.

what about the classic chestnut bun?
I totally know what you mean! my hair will not curl for the life of it! even if it curls, it doesn’t last more than an hour.
