No axe-murderers for me, but I will be taking on my FSIL name. We share the same first name & middle initial. She's married now with a new last name, but it's still pretty funny/strange to be "stealing" her original name
.
Haha wow that's crazy!!! My married name is just the same as a bunch of math professors and insurance agents etc...nothing exciting. BUT my firstmarried@gmail.com was already taken which made me MAD!!!! I swear it's not THAT common a name!!
I'm the only person in the world with my current first/last and when I google my first/new last, it returns absolutely nothing.
That's what happens when an Indian girl with a not-too-common first name (well, it's not uncommon, but I spell it differently than the standard spelling) marries an Irish-Italian boy (with an Italian last name)!
My married name is the exact same as a girl Mr. Kiwi went to school with. And it's funny because she keeps popping up around town, and my mom thinks it's me!
Once both of us get married, one of my sorority sisters and I will have the same name. There will be others, but no one famous. I think I'll miss my unique name. Right now when I google my name, all I get are entries about me!
oh man bluebell! My FirstMarried@gmail.com is taken too! Bummer! I didn't even think about that.
Maybe it's a sign for me to keep my maiden name!
My name is going to rhyme, like Julia Gulia. My friends think it is hilarious. Danielle Speidel.
My first name and last name are regular words in the English dictionary, so I get all sorts of interesting things if I don't put quotation marks. Romance novels...really?
You girls must not be as crazy as me- I reserved firstmarried@gmail.com about three years ago :) My maiden name is so common, I'm looking forward to being a little more unique!
When I Google my name a girl that graduated from my parents high school (the same year I graduated from high school) pops up. We have the same last name and my first name is her middle name.
When I google my name now two people come up, me and my aunt. When I google my first name and new last new nothing comes up. I'll be the only one. :-)
My gmail was taken, too, so I had to settle for Newlast.FirstL@gmail
And when I google my name it brings up my Facebook and a Crohn's/Colitis walk I recently did, plus a couple of sites with stuff in Portuguese because I have a Portuguese name :)
there are only 3 people with my current name... hundreds with my new one!
my best new-name twin: a teacher in Australia who was convicted for having sex with one of her 15-year old students!

Just for fun the other day, I googled what will be my married name. I got tons of hits- I will share the same name as an axe-murder!!!!! Anyone else discover something strange, unusual or amusing during their wedding planning?
