Speciality lingerie shop. Also, corset backed dress is going to be helpful too. Extra "keep them suckas in there and up" support.
@MissACS: Unfortunately it's not a corset backed dress. It's a one-shouldered number from Bari Jay.
Go to http://barenecessities.com and look for the lacy longline strapless bras, I don't remember the brand but they are totally see-through lace. They are AMAZING in regards to support--I tried one on at the dress shop I first went to!
Sounds beautiful!
Try yelp.com to find a decent lingerie store and get measured. Try on a few. Order a few and return what doesn't work.
That's the only advice I can give, it's what I did. Oh also? I found longline bras were worse for support than a regular strapless. I ended up with a strapless and spanx. That combo worked better for me.
Try Wacoal and Le Mystere. Both carry larger styles and are available at stores like Bloomingdales or specialty lingerie stores.
It will cost you around $80 probably, but I love my Le Mystere strapless (I'm a 34DD)
MissOldTownVa, you MUST go to Trousseau's in Vienna. They will help you there and you will be in very good hands. Bring your dress with you. :-)
SURE DO! I went this weekend and I was dreading getting my undergarments, but they helped me out and it was a great experience. They're a little on the pricey side but I decided it was worth it since I was paying for great service.
@sunnydebs: If you don't mind my asking, what's the average price? I'm willing to plunk down a good bit of change, but I want to know what I'm getting into. :-)
I spent $55 on a strapless longline bra. Most of the bras were in the $70 range. I also bought some spanx there for $45.
Yep yep, go to Trousseau. No, hurry to Trousseau! They know what they are doing. :-) They sell bridal veils, garters, and headpieces, too. I'll be going back again.
I bought a long line bra from the homeshoppong network online and I love it. It's from the Dr. Rey shapewear line which is aparently also avaliable at Sears. I like that it's a bit longer than most of the others I've tried on and I feel like it really smooths me out in the middle. As far as support I'm a C and it's fine (I know this will be different for you but it's my reference), it's not a push up but I was hoping to minimize cleavage due to a low cut dress. Since there'S a whole line it may be worth checking out. I bought mine on sale and it was very reasonably priced (under $30). Good luck.
I would reccomend Fredricks of Hollywood. I get all my bras from them (and I am a 38F) and their strapless bras are actually amazing.
They have bras for larger cups that look cute and sexy - and even some made specifically for the wedding look. I have been using them exclusively for almost 10 years now and wouldnt trust the girls in any other bra
Note - their strapless bras run a little big, so try to see if you can go into the store to get sized. Also their lingere is supporting and yet sexy - so you dont have to worry that you look like you are "hanging"
Have you thought about a bustier? My bff got one to wear under her bridesmaid dress and she loves it. She even started wearing it day-to-day.

So there are plenty of strapless bras out there that are supposedly designed for full figured women. Most of the time, however, it ends up looking like this...
Everything just sort of... sags and hangs. There's no support or perk. It just keeps you from showing the world your goodies.
I need a strapless bra or bustier that will not do that. I wear a 44DD or DDD in regular bras, and I'm having a hell of a time finding something that will actually shape and support my chest, as opposed to just making everything look worse. Also, I'm six feet tall.
Any recommendations would be most welcome.
