Did you check with the bridal shop where you bought the dress? I got my longline bra at the same time i ordered my dress.
Beautiful dress!
I am the same bra size as you, and I'm having cups sewn in. I didn't want to have to deal with the crazy boning of the backless bras.
Have you talked to the bridal salon? I can't relate to having really any chest at all, but every salon I went to told me that most dresses are designed not to require a bra (even for larger chested women). They usually put a lot of boning and structure into most strapless dresses. Most of the dresses I tried on literally stand up on their own. I would definitely ask whomever you bought it from what they recommend (and I'm sure they can point you to an appropriate lingerie shop if necessary).
I spoke to someone at the dress shop (not the seamstress they have on staff though) and when they asked me what size I was, I was told that having cups sewn in was not an option because that was for "smaller girls". I got a long-line bra from Victorias Secret (it ended up being $45 and then I got my discount for working for its sister company BBW on top of that, so SCORE!) but I'm definitely going to talk to the seamstress since I'm going in for a fitting on Wednesday. I can always return the one I got from Vicki's if it doesn't work out, and the more I look at that photo, the more I think it's not going to come down far enough.
Thanks for all your help, ladies, and for letting me know it IS possible to have cups sewn in, even if you are "blessed" in that department!
Just an update for anyone who has a dress that comes down as far as mine does in the back, here's what I did.
The bra from Victoria's Secret did not come down far enough, but I was able to simply unhook the top three hooks and fold it down. I was going to put in a couple of stitches just to make sure nothing moved, but I ended up not needing them, and no wardrobe malfunctions.

Okay ladies - here's my problem. . . my wedding dress has a slight V in the back, so I have to get a bra that comes down pretty far in the back. I found one at Victoria's Secret but it's $80. I know I'll probably only wear this thing once, so I don't want to spend a lot on it, but I also don't want it to be cheap and uncomfortable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
PS The other thing I have to keep in mind is I'm not small-chested - I'm a 36D so sewing in cups or using the self-adhesive bras won't work.
