@llberu:  the sash’s are sewn on. im sure casablanca will change them for a price. i have seen some awesome work casablanca has done with adding sleeves to lowering backs, length changes, tops and bottoms switched, lace moved (ex: my dress the 1900, i saw where someone had them change the pattern of the lace on the bottom where the big heavy lace kinda below the knee was on the bottom not at the knee)

the 1934 was in ivory on ivory. ive heard casablancas “white” and “ivory” are pretty close in color… dunno how true that is since i have not seen it myself in person. my dress 1900 is ivory lace with champagne.

i believe my 1900 was 900 origionally then i did a hallow to hem, neckline change, and added length to the train (that i know was 150) it ended up being around 1200. so im not 100% sure how much it cost but between the hallow to hem and the neckline there was 150 in charges… which also might have some extra cost because of being plus size.

dont be afraid to ask how much changes will cost. your dress consultant should be able to call the designer up right then and ask.

@llberu:  Hey there! I noticed you’re in Boston…I got my dress at a place called Madeleine’s Daughter up in Portsmouth, NH and they were amazing. They had a lot of designer dresses in plus size (I was trying on size 16s, but I know they had sizes past that)..and they also have those designers in store. It might be worth giving them a call to see if they have the specific dresses you are looking for so that you can try them on!

@MissBatman:  Does your dress have a corset in it? I feel I will need a boned corset to look anywhere decent in a dress :-/

I love your dress and you look amazing!

@MrsPanda99:  Thank you…I don’t think that it has a boned corset. It’s a zipper back. Wish it had a bit more structure, but it’s nothing that some great alterations can’t fix!

Edit: It does have some plastic boning, I think, actually!

@llberu:  Another Boston girl here 🙂 What shops in Massachusetts have you liked/disliked? I’m a size 14, also looking at lace dresses.
