On weddingbees we often talk about what stresses us. and we all know stress is linked to all types of illnuess. But i wanted to know: How do you deal with the stress in your life?
Personally, listening to music is my number one coping method. It just calms me and really helps me mood alter.
Sometimes I talk to someone is helpful but I find, if I’m really stressed, it makes it worse to have to explain my stresses aloud to someone.
Also, interesting fact (source: my textbook) people who feel “in control” of the stresses in their life, were far less likely to get sick than people with the same stressful issues who felt they had “no control” over the circumstances. So lately, I’m trying to keep a good attitude and acknowledge that I do have control over my stresses. It actually helps me feel better.
