I need help! I was doing great with eating and excercising to the point of noticeable results. But the last couple of weeks, I have stopped eating right and excercising. I think it’s due to stress, but it’s not an excuse. Any other Bees going on a downward spiral and need a pickup? Or have gone down the spiral and gotten back up? Am I alone in this? Aaaah!

@Bhotel21: oh hai. I see we’re talking about stress eating. I totally belong in this thread. I am going through the same self destructive thing at the moment. I’m not sure how to fix it but I wanted you to know I totally understand.

Hai Faux! It’s embarrassing really. I’m noticing my gut poking out more, and I’m eating enough pizza to make a grown man sick. I’m glad I’m not alone, but this is not good! I see pics of brides looking awesomely hot on their wedding day, and I won’t get there eating leftover pizza for breakfast?!

I understand how you feel, I have eaten bad food when I’ve been upset or stressed for years, gotten to the point of addiction now. I have had brief periods of eating well and exercising, but it is very hard to keep up!

I completely understand! My FI has been gone for almost 2 months now to Asia on business and I’ve been eating terribly since he’s been gone. I’m sure I’ve put on 10 pounds!! I need to get control and start eating right and exercising again 😛

Ugh, yes, I’ve been stress eating to the max. Now, I’m stressed because my final fitting is on Saturday. UGH. haha

I’m in the same position and finally just started turning it around again (althought not the size I would like to be by ANY means). The thing that helped me was trying on my dress and seeing how tight it was compaired to the first day. When you have the dress on picture your pictures….what are they going to look like? They will be something you look at for the rest of you life…
I subscribed to netflix and put a tredmill in front of the TV. Now I watch “say yes to the dress” and walk on the tredmill. Seeing how good the tiny little girls look in their dress is definitely motivation, but seeing the girls that don’t fit into the dresses is even more motivation; I would be absolutely devistated if my dress didn’t fit a week before the wedding.
“You can’t out exercise a bad diet” (although I say that exercise definitely helps put off the effects of a bad diet….)
