You could have a great court house wedding.  They allow your immediate friends and family and though it’s short, it will be sweet.

Do a nice hair clip – a single flower, maybe with a rhinestone, a lovely ivory short veil, t-length gown or dress which is both elegant and comfortable and you will still look like a princess.  I would leave the ballroom gown out – there’s a lot of stairs at the court room and you will feel out of place (maybe save that for your reception).

Yes, have a small bouquet or a wrist corsage for flowers.  You needn’t spend a lot of $ to get something nice from your neighborhood florist.  Order a day or two before and simple carnations for your hubby and boys, small wrist corsages for girls.  Have a friend with a digital camera take photos and order a book from blurb.com

You can buy great clothes at JC Penney – they have great dresses and formal wear – so check them out.  Your hubby to be can wear a casual (or dressy suit) of any color.

If you are having an at home wedding reception, yes, you can buy a lot of stuff from Costco, Walmart, etc.  Set up buffet tables of food, order a small cake to cut in and have a fun dessert/candy station with backs or chinese take out boxes for favors for your guests.

David’s bridal is having a great sale, so do check them out.

You can order cheap wedding invites from vistaprint.com/thanks3

What’s good about them is that most invites come in a variety of colors.  (See a sample below).

Do a search for wedding invitations which are pre-designed, you just fill in the info.

Good luck.  Here’s photos!
